A brief understanding of the function and role of fan coil units

The compressor is the heart of the refrigeration system. It draws low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas from the suction pipe, compresses it using a motor-driven piston, and discharges high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant liquid into the discharge pipe. This provides the power for the refrigeration cycle, thus achieving the refrigeration cycle of compression-condensation-expansion-evaporation (heat absorption).
(1) Fan coil units must create an indoor air environment suitable for human comfort. Because the indoor air environment has a very important effect on human comfort, creating the indoor air environment required for human comfort has become the primary task of air conditioning operations. For example, if the indoor air temperature is required to be 24±1°C and the relative humidity is 55%±5%, then air conditioning operations must not only maintain the base temperature of 24°C and the base humidity of 55%, but also the fan coil unit must ensure a temperature accuracy of ±1°C and a humidity accuracy of ±5% (i.e., the allowable range of temperature and humidity fluctuations), as well as higher freshness and cleanliness.
(2) Fan coil units must meet the indoor air environment required for process production. Certain process production processes have extremely high requirements for temperature and humidity environment. Temperature and humidity conditions not only directly affect the normal operation of production processes, but also affect product output and quality. Examples include textile production, precision instrument production, and pharmaceutical production processes.
(3) Eliminate harmful gases indoors and heat and moisture generated in concentrated areas. The carbon dioxide in comfort air-conditioned rooms and unpleasant odors from bathrooms, the toxic and odorous harmful gases generated in the production workshops of process air conditioning, and many parts that generate a lot of heat and moisture, all need to be eliminated by the fan coil unit through air conditioning and exhaust facilities, in order to achieve an excellent indoor air environment.
